History

The personnel are headed by the Chairman Mr. Max Dales, who was the founder of a leading property group in KZN and has been in the property market since 1960.

Max first opened the doors to his estate agency at the corner of Crompton and Hill Streets, employing only one clerk who typed all documents with only one finger.

The company later moved to Underwood Road, and ass this was the only road into Pinetown, the name Max Dales became familiar, and the business began to grow.

Max and his team then purchased an old tennis factory at 108 Old Main Road, and called it Dalmax House. The company grew bigger and bigger, and Boland Bank purchased a share in the company, necessitating the change in name from Max Dales & Company to Maxprop (Pty) Ltd.

After 10 years as director at Maxprop, Max decided to retire.

Before long, however, he started a new company called  Dalmax Properties , handling Commercial & Industrial properties together with Rohith Muniah. Dalmax is now situated at Maxbridge Centre in New Germany. The staff compliment has grown to ten, and includes Max’s son Brian Dales.

Dalmax Properties has all the experience of age as well as the enthusiasm of young, well trained, sales staff.
